Lactic Acid 10% + HA is an alpha hydroxy acid solution that offers effective exfoliation targeted at the skin’s surface. It is supported with purified Tasmanian pepperberry extract, which has been shown to reduce irritation and sensitivity that can be associated with acid use. This water-based serum is ideal for dry skin types. This pH of this formula is approximately 3.8. Lactic Acid has a pKa of 3.8 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids.

Offering gentle – yet extraordinary – exfoliation with lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) this lightweight serum stimulates cell regeneration to reduce pigmentation, diminish acne scars and age spots and improve overall skin texture. Has no harsh chemicals and applied to face very nicely. I use mine with witch hazel to dilute it some but you can use it alone. Works great on my skin

I really love this product. I was looking for something that would be hydrating for my skin and help with redness. It is very moisturizing, doesn't dry out my skin, and I like mixing a couple drops with my vitamin c serum when I put it on my face. I noticed that the properties help with dry rough skin and I tend to get some ezcema-like patches on the backs of my hands; when I put this on them, I usually notice the redness quiets down significantly within the next day or so. It does have a burning sensation sometimes when I put it on, but it's acid so that's to be expected. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

I've used this product one time so far and my face already feels smoother and fresher. I use to get dry ice treatments at my dermatologist's office and this is what my face felt like afterwards! My skin feels cleaner, tighter, and soft as silk. My skin doesn't look so "tired" anymore. It's only a slight difference so far but I'm hoping after a week or two my skin will look even better. I'll update my review if anything changes but so far I am very happy with this product.

Start with a bottle of 5%, then bump up to 10% for your next bottle. This is an exfoliating serum so everyday your face gets exfoliated.works great on my sensitive skin. I use it in the morning after my Vitamin C serum. Then continue with Coenzyme Q10 serum, a moisturizer & of course SUNSCREEN! If your mouisturizer contains sunscreen, you can skip Sunscreen.
